Disability related harassment – a call for evidence in Westminster

Recent diability harassment and hate crimes such as the tragic Fiona Pinkerton case has prompted the Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) is investigate how public authorities are tackling harassment and its causes.

NHS Westminster website testing - volunteers wanted!

NHS Westminster is relaunching its website in August and wants service users to test it before it goes live.
 
The Trust is looking for LINk members to try out their “Find a GP” website, to review the language used and help make sure that it can be understood and used by patients to enable them to make a choice of GP Provider.

Consultation on Older Adults services

Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust is consulting on changes to older adults mental health services in Kensington & Chelsea and Westminster.

The proposed changes will see admissions to Kershaw ward (Chelsea and Westminster Hospital) closed and patients admitted to Redwood and Oak Ward at St Charles Hospital.

The Care Quality Commission has published its findings of the service inspection of adult social care for Westminster City Council. The focus of the CQC inspection was services for Safeguarding adults (rated as performing "well") and Increased choice and control for older people (rated as "excellent").

Westminster Work Solutions is a partnership programme between Jobs in Mind, a company that supports people wishing to stay or enter the jobs market, and NHS Westminster.
