NHS Inpatient survey results published

The Care Quality Commission (CQC), the independent regulator of all health and adult social care in England, has published results from a national survey of inpatients in England's acute and specialist NHS trusts, including Imperial.

Results from the 69,000 patients surveyed in 162 Trusts found overall improvements in hospital cleanliness and mixed-sex accommodation, but progress was “disappointing” around the information given to people about medicines and lack of help for patients to eat.

Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust results were classed as “about the same” as the national average and can be viewed here.

Comparative results for all English Trusts are also attached.
